Essential oils can be very beneficial in our daily lives. This Lavender & Peppermint Essential Oil roller bottle is perfect for those of us who have very sensitive, itchy skin. With minimal ingredients, it is very easy and quick to make.

Making a roller bottle

What you need to make this lavender & Peppermint roller bottle

  • An empty Amber glass, roller bottle
  • 10 drops 100% Pure Lavender Essential Oil
  • 8 drops 100% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil or your favorite carrier oil
  • Small Funnel

The process of makig your Lavender & Peppermint Roller bottle

Place you empty roller bottle on a hard surface, not on any fabric covered area. If you spill oil on the hard surface, it will be easy to clean up.

Put your funnel into the empty roller bottle opening. Pour your carrier oil into the roller bottle. Fill it 3/4 the way full. Do not over fill. You want to leave room to add your oils and space to push the roller ball into the top.

Next, Take your lavender oil and drop 10 drops into your roller bottle. Then add 8 drops peppermint oil.

Do not add in extra peppermint. Peppermint is a strong oil and needs to be diluted properly. Essential oils are very beneficial, but do require care and proper usage or they can be very dangerous.

Add your roller top and press it in securely so it doesn’t leak. Add your label of choice and you are done.

I am a lover of baths. A nice, hot bath, a candle and a good book is amazing. But, because I cannot use bubble baths with my sensitive skin, I have discovered the benefits of oils. I add 4 drops lavender and 3 to 4 drops peppermint oils into the water while my bath is filling up.

Lavender & Rosemary Bath Soak

  • 1 cup Unscented Epsom Salt
  • 10 drops Lavender Essential Oils
  • 1/4c Dried Rosemary or 5 drops 100% Pure Rosemary Essential Oil
  • Desired Container with a lid

the process

Place 1 cup unscented Epsom Salt in a bowl. Add 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil and either 1/4c Dried Rosemary or 5 drops Rosemary Essential Oil. I like to chop up my dried Rosemary into small pieces before I add to the Epsom Salts. Mix thoroughly and place in your desired container.

To Use:

Add 2 Tablespoons to your bath water while the bath is filling up.

SIDE NOTE: I talk about using 100% Pure Essential Oils. Do your research and find a company you can trust. Many oils sold in stores state they are 100% pure, but they are often diluted. Find a company that you are able to research their farms and how the Essential Oils are made.
